Know More About Shang Bor

Shang Bor Group is a joint venture between Taiwanese and Malaysian companies. The manufacturing plant of Shang Bor Plastics (M) Sdn Bhd began production in Penang’s Prai Industrial Zone in February 1990. It was involved in the plastic injection molding for the electronic, electrical, computers, tele-communication, office equipment and communication related products.Shang Bor has been expanding its production capacity and quality control facilities ever since to improve on its manufacturing standards, for even more satisfactory products and service to our customers.

As part of our long term goal of expanding our business overseas, we entered the Chinese market in 2002 and set up a factory in Suzhou, WuJiang. Currently, we serve a variety of markets, with specialization in projectors, multimedia equipment, and networking products. In recent years, we have also started expanding towards medical equipment as well as new energy products so as to follow industrial and product trends.

Our team in Penang, Malaysia is located at Perai Industrial Area, and we are serving several Japanese OEM and ODM companies. We specialize in plastics injection molding for remote control devices, Multi-Functional Printer devices, automotive plastic parts, and many more.

Shang Bor Electronics Components Limited

Our team in Suzhou, China (JiangSu Province) is located at Wujiang Economic Economic Development Zone, and we currently serve several Taiwanese, Japanese and Chinese OEM and ODM companies. We specialize in plastics injection molding for Projectors, Networking Devices, VFDs, Battery modules, and many more.

As an certified GP supplier for all our customers as well as being an ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, and IATF 16949 certified manufacturing company, we are constantly seeking for opportunities to improve ourselves so we can continue to provide the best service for our customers.

Our Equipments and Facilities

Both our locations in Malaysia and China utilize a variety of technologies and equipment to ensure that our products are up to standard and of the best quality.

Tooling Fabrication

Our factories in Malaysia and China are well equipped with several Wirecutting, CNC, and EDM Machines and utilize the latest softwares for tooling design and mold flow analysis.

Injection Molding Machines

Our production lines consist of both hydraulic and electric injection molding ranging from 90T to 1200T, and each of them are equipped with robotic arms and many other accessories for efficient production.

Quality Assurance

In order to comply with the quality standards set by our customers as well as the industry in general, Our factories are equipped with the most widely used measuring and testing equipments including but not limited to: CMM Machine, Spectrophotometer, MI flow testing machine etc.

ERS Lab

As a ROHS compliant plastic products manufacturer, we have set up an ERS laboratories in our facilities at Malaysia and China with XRF and ICP-MS machines in order to ensure our materials and products do not contain hazardous substances.
